Kids Planet Fleckney

Kids Planet Fleckney (Formerly Hunny Jar, Fleckney nursery) is a welcoming nursery located just a short walk from the High Street and Fleckney Primary School, offering early years education and care in a friendly, community focused setting.

Our nursery is thoughtfully organised into age appropriate rooms for babies, toddlers and preschool children, supporting each stage of early development in a safe and nurturing environment. Indoors, children benefit from comfortable, well equipped spaces, supported by secure access systems to ensure peace of mind for families.

Outdoors, our all weather garden provides a space for daily play, exploration and fresh air, encouraging children to stay active and curious throughout the year.

I am a Level 3 qualified childcare professional with many years of experience in early years education, having worked in the sector since the age of 17. I joined the Fleckney site in 2017 and have progressed into the role of Nursery Manager. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and education, and I am dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences.
