Kirsty Dunn
ManagerMy name is Kirsty, and I have worked in early years education since 2012, when I began my childcare career as an apprentice at Woodstock Road Nursery. After achieving my Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education, I progressed through a variety of roles, including Room Leader and Deputy Manager, while also completing a Foundation Degree in Early Years.
In 2021, I became Nursery Manager at one of our sister nurseries. Following the birth of my son, Harley, in 2022, I returned from maternity leave and supported several nurseries across the region before taking on the exciting role of Nursery Manager at Garden House.
I am passionate about building strong partnerships with families and ensuring every child feels happy, safe, and valued. My aim is to create a warm, nurturing environment where children can thrive, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.
Outings
Learning through real-world experiences
Outings play an important role in life at Woodstock Road. Whether it’s a visit to the farm, the library, or exploring the local neighbourhood, these experiences extend children’s learning beyond the nursery walls. Outings support language development, curiosity, and social skills, while also helping children build confidence and independence in new situations.
