Woodland discoveries are part of growing up at Kids Planet Jack Straws Lane, with an on-site woodland for children to explore. Exclusively for University of Oxford staff and students, our nursery is near local hospitals and welcomes babies through to preschoolers into rooms arranged for their age.

Regular Forest School activities and Udeskole sessions make use of the natural surroundings, giving children practical experiences of learning outdoors. Our Inspire accreditation also recognises an approach to education shaped around children. Our team supports their questions and ideas, helping them get involved in experiences that reflect their interests and stage of development.

    I am the nursery manager at Jack Straws Lane and have over 12 years experience in childcare, working across a range of settings and age groups before finding my home here. I am passionate about supporting team well being and creating high quality learning opportunities for all the children in our care.
