Kids Planet Halifax

Kids Planet Halifax, formerly Tiny Tree Nursery, is a lively and welcoming setting close to Halifax town centre. We offer early years education and care for children aged 0 to 5 years in a safe, stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence.

Our indoor and outdoor learning spaces are designed around the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, supporting playful exploration and meaningful development every day. At Kids Planet Halifax, children enjoy an engaging, nurturing start packed with fun, friendship, and fresh learning opportunities.

I’m Salma, the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Halifax, formerly Tiny Tree Day Nursery.

Supporting children’s development and seeing them progress has always been my passion. I began my childcare journey in 2007, and with nearly 20 years of experience, I remain dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care.

As a parent myself, I understand the emotions families feel when starting their nursery journey. My team and I are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment where every child can thrive, learn, and feel supported throughout their early years.

At Kids Planet, we believe in making life easier for families, which is why our nurseries offer an all-inclusive approach. Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
