Overview
About Halifax
Close to Halifax town centre, Kids Planet Halifax welcomes children from birth to five into a nursery formerly known as Tiny Tree. Our team plans learning around your child’s interests through play indoors and outside. Sensory experiences give them opportunities for hands-on discovery, with our team supporting their ideas as they develop.
Before your child starts, settling-in visits let them explore our nursery and meet the people who will care for them. These visits also give you time to share what matters to your child and talk about their routines. Term-time attendance is available, and on-site parking supports families arriving by car.

ManagerI’m Salma, the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Halifax, formerly Tiny Tree Day Nursery.
Supporting children’s development and seeing them progress has always been my passion. I began my childcare journey in 2007, and with nearly 20 years of experience, I remain dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care.
As a parent myself, I understand the emotions families feel when starting their nursery journey. My team and I are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment where every child can thrive, learn, and feel supported throughout their early years.
Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
