About Henley 2
Kids Planet Henley 2 supports children approaching three and preschoolers in Henley Green and Wyken Croft. As a specialist preschool, we help your child build on their interests and develop confidence and the everyday skills they’ll use at primary school. Outdoor learning is integral to the nursery day and our Udeskole-accredited approach explores the outdoors through play.
Sensory play and active sessions give children more ways to discover, with our team supporting children as they try things independently and communicate their ideas. We give children time to practise these skills, recognising that children develop at different rates. Our Helping Hands Station also offers support for families, making care for the wider nursery community part of life here.

Sophie Lunn
ManagerShe has been in the role since 2022 and has worked at the nursery since 2021, beginning as Deputy Manager. With Level 3 childcare, Sophie also holds a mental health first aid qualification.

At Henley 2, we’re passionate about giving back and supporting our nursery community. Our Helping Hands Station provides essentials such as children’s clothing, coats, shoes, and nutritious food bags, available for families to take, swap, or contribute. This initiative not only reduces waste and unnecessary costs but also builds a culture of kindness, connection, and mutual support, ensuring every family feels cared for and included.
