Kids Planet Radford

Kids Planet Radford (formerly Tiny Teddies Radford Nursery) is a welcoming nursery providing early years education and care. Our nursery is thoughtfully organised into four age-appropriate rooms, supporting babies through to preschool with environments that reflect each stage of development.

Children enjoy a wide range of engaging experiences every day, including creative activities, sensory exploration, water play, and hands-on learning that encourages curiosity and confidence. Our experienced team includes long-standing practitioners, some of whom have been part of the nursery since it first opened, alongside dedicated apprentices who bring fresh energy and enthusiasm.

I started in early years in 2002 and have worked in the sector in many roles, including practitioner, room leader, deputy, and nursery manager. I have been a nursery manager here since 2010, as well as supporting our sister setting. I hold a Level 3 in Early Years and a Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
