At Kids Planet Heywood, children can grow seasonal produce in the sensory garden and get involved in Mini Chefs cooking activities. Our town-centre nursery has a large, open-plan space and a covered outdoor area, giving children opportunities to explore in different weather.
Trips to the library and petting farm bring new experiences into their learning, while football sessions and yoga offer different ways to enjoy movement. We’re working towards Udeskole accreditation, with a dedicated outdoor learning area for discovering nature. Our team helps your child build on what they notice, using these practical experiences to support their questions and interests.

ManagerI have worked for Kids Planet for almost two years. I worked at Hopwood before acquisition for 8 years, where I gained my BA Hons in Early Years Practice, left to work in children's healthcare then had my own children. I came back on a part time contract and because of a well timed opportunity, within a year was manager. I have worked with children for 16 years and am passionate about ensuring our children get the best start in life.
