Nursery in Leeds City Centre

Kids Planet Leeds Oxford Place is situated on Oxford Place, in the heart of Leeds City Centre, very near the main Leeds Train Station and the City Square where many buses depart from. The 60 place nursery provides care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and offers a soft playroom as part of its facilities.

We’re advocates of family support and offer funded childcare openings, also our nursery fees incorporate nourishing meals, nappies, baby formula, and gentle baby wipes.

Kirsty Keenan is the nursery manager at Kids Planet Oxford Place.

I have had the pleasure of working here at Leeds Oxford Place since 2017, during that time I have gained so much experience and have been able to progress in various roles and have recently become the Manager here in June 2024.
During this time, I’ve even welcomed my little girl to the world who I have been able to watch flourish and grow within this Nursery, she is now three and thriving. This gives me the desire and drive to provide the best for all children in my Nursery, whether this be engaging with them myself and implementing a variety of opportunities, or training and supporting my staff to be the very best they can be.

At Kids Planet, we believe in a healthy approach to bodies and appetites, with sociable mealtimes, balanced nutrition and fresh, varied menus. Our menus are healthy and well-balanced. Each nursery setting has an on-site, qualified chef with an in-depth understanding of nutrition, food hygiene, and menu planning.

This place is amazing, 2 of my children attend the nursery, both are under 2, the nursery manager has been very helpful from the day we stepped in there.

My children are still attending now and the staff are amazing and are very attentive to the children. I am very fussy when it comes to my children attending a nursery but all the staff made me and the children feel very welcome, it feels like home away from home, hats off to all the staff.

The manager has always been clear, helpful and accommodating to my ever-changing work hours. She has also been super helpful arranging my finances with Universal Credit.

The girls who look after my daughter all seem to really care for her, I always see my daughter busy at play during pickup. Excellent hot food cooked daily by a lovely young male chef who uses local ingredients.

Location of the nursery is fantastic for those who work in the city centre. Highly recommend.
