About Springhead

In a quiet corner of Oldham, Kids Planet Springhead gives babies through to preschoolers space to play and discover their local area. Our purpose-built nursery is a short walk from the park and library, with secure outdoor areas for play in all weathers. Local outings help your child explore the world around them.

Settling-in sessions allow your child time to become comfortable with our nursery and the people who will care for them. You can share their routines with us and talk about what helps them feel at ease. Term-time places are available, with on-site parking and pram storage to support your daily nursery journey.

    I have worked in childcare for over 23 years. I have been At Kids Planet Springhead for just over 10 years. I hold a BA degree and Early Years Professional Status (now known as EYTS). I have raised my daughter as a single parent alongside studying and working full time, I am very proud, as she is now an English Teacher at a local secondary school.

A Warm Welcome and Helping Hands

Supporting families and our wider community

We believe in creating a welcoming environment for both children and parents. Our parent refreshment station offers a place to grab a drink or snack, providing a small moment of ease during busy mornings and encouraging friendly conversations with staff and other parents. Alongside this, our community basket supports local food banks by collecting donations, while also teaching children the importance of kindness, generosity, and helping others in need.
