About The Pod
Music and storytelling are part of learning at Kids Planet The POD in Handforth, where our teacher-led team shares its love of stories and music with children. Children can share books in the hot air balloon library, explore the sensory room or spend time in the cosy sleep den. Outdoors, a classroom and mud kitchen offer more hands-on discovery.
Regular sports sessions support active play, with our team helping children take part at their stage of development. We provide support for children with additional needs, adapting experiences to what works for them. Term-time care and on-site parking are available to help families plan their week and daily journeys.

ManagerI am a qualified primary school teacher with a specialism is early years education. I am committed to delivering best practice crucial in those first early years. I am dedicated in creating a unique space where children and their families feel safe, valued and cherished. I have two beautiful children of my own who have helped influence and shape my vision of the early years curriculum.
