Kids Planet Cheadle Royal (formerly Kids Allowed) is a purpose-built nursery providing high-quality childcare and early education for babies through to preschoolers.

Our amazing nursery is bursting with Early Years experts, so your child is always in safe hands.

On our planet, your child can reach for the stars and shine bright! We love being part of our local community.

Our children regularly visit the nearby care home, building bonds across generations and developing social awareness and empathy.

Outdoors, our little explorers thrive in our nature-inspired spaces, enjoying activities that support physical development, problem-solving and confidence building.

We’re proud of our eco efforts too, through our Udeskole-inspired outdoor learning, gardening projects and sustainability activities, we help nurture little eco champions of the future. The nursery also offers an Out of School and Holiday Club available for children from 4 years up to 11 years old.

Hi, I’m Kirsty.

I began my childcare journey in 2000 and have been passionate about supporting children’s growth and development ever since. I have been part of the nursery since 2006 and bring over 10 years of leadership experience, working closely with both children and teams to create a positive and nurturing environment.

Alongside my childcare qualifications, I hold an A1 Assessor Award, a Level 3 SEND qualification, and a Sleep Coaching certification. These allow me to support children’s individual needs and development, while also guiding and mentoring staff in their practice.

I am passionate about creating a warm, inclusive environment where every child and family feels supported and valued. I take great pride in building strong relationships and supporting children as they grow in confidence and thrive throughout their nursery journey.

Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

Outdoor Learning Adventures

Outdoor learning is at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud to have achieved our Udeskole accreditation. Our unique nature-based learning approach takes children beyond the nursery walls to explore, discover, and connect with the world around them. Whether it’s den building, cooking on the fire pit, or investigating local wildlife, our outdoor sessions help children develop essential life skills, resilience, and a love for the great outdoors, all while sparking curiosity and wonder.

Caring for Nature

Our little Eco Champions love getting involved in looking after their environment. Through hands-on activities like litter picking around the nursery, children learn the importance of keeping our spaces clean, sorting waste responsibly, and looking after the planet we all share. These moments are more than just tidy-up time, they help children develop communication skills, understanding of the world, and pride in their community.
