Once a month, a different group of 10-12 children from Kids Planet Davenport go to visit the local Stable Steps Care Home, a ritual enjoyed by both the residents and children alike.
Natalie Littlewood, Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Davenport, said: “We love getting involved with the local community. The lovely residents are surrounded by adults every day, and they need some youth to keep them feeling happy and young!”
This month, the team in Stockport took some photos of children playing and getting creative with the residents.
Kids Planet Davenport is a well-established nursery which opened over 40 years ago. The nursery is located next to Cale Green Park and cater for babies through to pre-school and has a sensory room as well as outdoor areas.
