Kids Planet Day Nurseries raised over £600 for Save the Children. The children and staff from Kids Planet Prestwich and the Higher Broughton (Salford) nursery held a sponsored muddy puddle walk in Heaton Park, Manchester.
Save the Children believes every child deserves a future. In the UK and around the world, they give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. They do whatever it takes for children – every day and in terms of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share.
The Muddy Puddle Walk was held on Sunday 14th May with a muddy walk around Heaton Park along with Peppa Pig. The total raised was £652.03, all the children and families had a great day and enjoyed meeting Peppa Pig.
Kirsty Powell, Nursery Manager at Prestwich said “It was a fantastic turn out from all the parents and children who attend from Kids Planet Prestwich and Higher Broughton to raise money and awareness for Save the Children.”
