The team at Kids Planet Rugeley is delighted to have been awarded ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ in all areas following their recent inspection.
Kids Planet Rugeley is a popular setting close to the busy town centre with excellent transport links and good community connections. At the nursery, there is an internal sports coach allowing children of all ages to take part in regular outdoor activities.
The Ofsted Outstanding Report revealed how ‘staff interactions with children are of a high quality, resulting in the children feeling safe and secure’, and ‘staff role model polite behaviours and good manners, which children copy, for instance, babies use hand gestures to sign ‘thank you’.’
The report also highlights how ‘relationships between staff and parents are superb,’ and ‘there is a strong focus on staff wellbeing and growth, resulting in high levels of staff retention’.

“My team and I are so immensely proud of our outstanding grade. For lots of us, our nursery is our second home; we have grown to become a family as the majority of us have worked here from the age of 18, and some of us have been a part of the setting for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on staff commitment, and to be rewarded with this grade is just an incredible feeling.
