Kids Planet Altofts Nursery offers a homely environment for children which encourages a relaxed transition from family to nursery life.

We are situated in an OAP hut that has been fully renovated and converted into a purpose-designed, light and airy childcare setting.

There are three wonderful rooms for each developmental stage and an in-house cook, who makes healthy, home-made meals every day.

I have been part of the Kids Planet family for five years, starting as an Assistant Practitioner at Kids Planet and working my way up to Nursery Manager of Altofts.

I hold a degree in Childhood Studies, am a qualified Mental Health First Aider, and have also been a SENCO. I have worked with children for many years through placements, coaching dancing, and running my own cheerleading group.

I understand how important it is creating an inclusive environment for every child, ensuring that they feel valued and supported. I am passionate about creating the best possible opportunities for our children, their families, but also about leading my team with dedication, encouragement, and care, helping them to grow and succeed.

With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.
