Manager

My name is Shauna Latto and I am the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Austhorpe.

I have been with the Sunbeams/Kids Planet family since 2016, beginning my journey as an apprentice at the Halton site and progressing to Nursery Manager. During this time, I have gained valuable experience across different age groups, rooms, and teams, developing a strong understanding of how we support children’s learning and development each day. I am also passionate about supporting staff, providing training, and helping teams grow in their roles.

More recently, I have gained experience managing another setting in Wetherby, and I was incredibly proud to receive the ‘Deputy Manager of the Year’ award at the Kids Planet awards. I have also worked as SENDCo, further strengthening my knowledge in supporting all children to reach their full potential.

I enjoy building strong relationships with children and families, supporting them from their first days at nursery through to starting school, and continuing to develop a nurturing and inspiring environment for everyone.
