This popular childcare setting is located in Barkston Ash, a small village close to Selby and Tadcaster in North Yorkshire.

It is uniquely set within circa six acres of land with the children’s areas placed across three extensive buildings, and with impressive landscaped outdoor play areas.

We pride ourselves on ensuring each child will experience positive and supportive relationships with their assigned key person, other children and the whole team.

I have been part of the Sunbeams/Kids Planet family since 2009, beginning my journey at Kids planet Austhorpe . Started working in our preschool room and have risen to the role of nursery manager in 2014 over the past 11 years at Austhorpe. I have gained significant knowledge and experience in the early years sector. I am very passionate when it comes to child development and working with the practitioners to build rich learning environments for children. I am also passionate about developing team skills and providing training to support staff in their careers. I cherish building strong relationships with children and their families, guiding them from their first days at nursery through to their transition to school.
