The dedicated longstanding staff team offer the highest quality early years education and care for children in our community from birth until preschool.

There has been a recent makeover of all teaching environments, and little ones are placed in age-banded rooms to ensure we can meet the appropriate needs of each child based on their developmental stage.Caisten Rio Stevenson is the nursery manager at Kids Planet Donisthorpe. I have been working in childcare for nine years now! I am truly passionate about supporting and guiding children, helping them to flourish and blossom to reach their full potential.

My professional journey began as an apprentice, where I quickly gained knowledge and experience, eventually advancing to a management position.

I am highly committed to continuous learning, as I believe there is always something new to discover.

As a mother of one, I understand the challenges parents face when leaving their precious children in someone else’s care, which is why I believe in creating that ‘home away from home’ environment.

Lucy Kerr

Manager

Lucy Kerr is the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Donisthorpe. With over 20 years of experience in early years education and childcare, she is a passionate and driven leader, committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, learning and development throughout the nursery. Lucy began her career in childcare more than two decades ago and has since developed extensive knowledge and experience across a wide range of roles within the sector. She is deeply dedicated to creating nurturing and engaging environments where children feel safe, valued and inspired to reach their full potential. As a mother herself, Lucy understands how important it is for families to feel confident and reassured when leaving their children in someone else’s care. She believes strongly in creating a true “home away from home” atmosphere, where children can flourish, build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.
