Kids Planet Donisthorpe is set in a rural location and is home to a large garden and open plan environments. The dedicated longstanding staff team offer the highest quality early years education and care for children in our community from birth until preschool. There has been a recent makeover of all teaching environments, and little ones are placed in age-banded rooms to ensure we can meet the appropriate needs of each child based on their developmental stage.

Caisten Rio Stevenson is the nursery manager at Kids Planet Donisthorpe. 

I have been working in childcare for nine years now! I am truly passionate about supporting and guiding children, helping them to flourish and blossom to reach their full potential. My professional journey began as an apprentice, where I quickly gained knowledge and experience, eventually advancing to a management position. I am highly committed to continuous learning, as I believe there is always something new to discover. As a mother of one, I understand the challenges parents face when leaving their precious children in someone else’s care, which is why I believe in creating that ‘home away from home’ environment.
