About Oldfield Road
At Kids Planet Oldfield Road, children from birth to five can get creative in a yurt art studio and explore a treehouse in the garden. Our nursery is in a Grade II listed Georgian building near Bath city centre, with a cosy baby room for the youngest children.
Caring for animals and heading out on local outings bring practical experiences into our nursery day. Our team uses these opportunities to support learning through play and the interests children develop. We work with families and adapt activities for children with additional needs, helping them get involved in ways that work for them.

Lucy Harris
ManagerI am a level 6 qualified early years manager . I have managed Oldfield road for the last four years. I have 20 years' experience with a mixture of different roles and responsibilities ranging from SENDco, Afterschool and holiday club leader, Room leader and deputy manager. I am very passionate about all children having their own autonomy, access to love, care and a rich curriculum and to be given opportunities that encourage a love of leaning, curiosity and wonder. The early years is the building blocks to the children's next step on their journey, and we play such a vital role in ensuring they are given the building blocks of life!
Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
