Kids Planet Turnbridge is a well-established nursery, operating from a large, beautiful property, with a homely charm and a longstanding team. The setting has been designed in line with OFSTED National Standards and the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework, with its own secure outside play/education area.

Rachel Taylor is the nursery manager at Kids Planet Turnbridge.

My Name is Rachel and I am the new manager at Kids Planet Turnbridge. I have been working here for the past 10 years and have supported a number of families, children and staff throughout my roles. I have progressed my way through nursery, starting as a nursery practitioner, room lead and my most recent role of deputy manager. I hold a BTEC National Diploma in children’s care and development and have experience of being a SEND lead, Behaviour Management lead, Safeguarding Lead as well as a first aider. I am keen to share my knowledge with others and develop my own knowledge and skills along the way.

At Kids Planet, we believe in a healthy approach to bodies and appetites, with sociable mealtimes, balanced nutrition and fresh, varied menus. Our menus are healthy and well-balanced. Each nursery setting has an on-site, qualified chef with an in-depth understanding of nutrition, food hygiene, and menu planning.

When my boys started here I was one of those nervous mothers, more so because they had only ever been to a childminder, so was worried how they would settle. I didn't need to worry at all they settled great and it's all thanks to the wonderful staff. They get nutritious homemade meals made for them, they've learnt about the life cycles of animals and looked after baby chicks, they've come home with seeds they have planted, lots of arts and crafts, everything! My daughter will be starting here in September I wouldn't want her anywhere else.
