Overview
About Goole
At Kids Planet Goole, children can explore their own ideas with materials such as clay and loose parts, aimed at helping children learn through play. Our single-storey, purpose-built nursery has spacious playrooms and a large outdoor area, with our team helping children learn through the things they do and discover.
We have connections with local primary schools to support your child’s next steps. Mealtimes also bring opportunities to learn about where food comes from, linking everyday life with their wider understanding of the world. Our nursery is on Rawcliffe Road, 400 yards from Junction 36 of the M62, making it convenient for families travelling locally or to work.

Heather Lester
ManagerI’m the Nursery Manager here at Goole, and I’ve been part of the Kids Planet team since February 2021. Supporting children and their families is something I truly care about, and I work hard to create a warm, “home‑from‑home” environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and comfortable. I’m here not only for the children in my care, but also to offer guidance, reassurance, and a friendly listening ear to parents and carers.
I started my journey as a Nursery Educator and have grown through the roles of Room Leader, Supervisor, Deputy Manager, and now Manager. Having worked across all areas of the nursery, I’ve gained a deep understanding of children’s development, strong team leadership, and the importance of building trusting, positive relationships with families. My aim is always to provide the very best care and early education for every child, while offering genuine support to the families who place their trust in us.
Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
