Our Billinge Nursery Are Raising Funds For StoreHouse Project

We’re pleased to share the news that Billinge based charity, Storehouse Project raised £615 following the annual nursery summer fair arranged by Kids Planet Billinge earlier this month.

Held at the nursery in Main Street, which opened in 2017, local families enjoyed a selection of stalls, a bouncy castle, face painting and a visit from Minnie Mouse.

The Storehouse Project is a Christian charity that collects food, clothing, furniture and household items from members of the community and delivers them to clients in need.  John Leach from the project said, “The storehouse project has been going for ten years now, we just roll our sleeves up, get out there and help others and most importantly give them a lift.  Donations from the public make such a huge difference to us. We can reach out to more people and show hope, love and compassion to our community”.

Plans are being made for some of the children who attend the nursery to visit the Storehouse later this year.  It’s also hoped that families will get involved with a toy appeal for the charity at Christmas time.
