Kids Planet School House is a warm and welcoming nursery for children aged from Babies to Pre-School. Set within the grounds of the historic School House building, originally built in 1842, the nursery has been beautifully refurbished and thoughtfully designed from a child’s point of view. Since opening in 2016, the setting has continued to evolve, offering bright, imaginative rooms and engaging outdoor spaces where children can explore, discover, and build a love of learning.

Each day is filled with exciting and adventurous opportunities that encourage curiosity, confidence, and independence. With a convenient location close to Middleton town centre and a caring, experienced team, Kids Planet School House provides a nurturing environment where children thrive and take pride in their achievements.

I am the Nursery Manager here at Kids Planet School House. I have worked in childcare since 2007 and over the years have worked my way into a leadership role. I truly love what I do, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. I believe that well-supported and valued staff create the best outcomes for children.

Away from nursery, I enjoy spending money I don’t have (mostly on food!) and relaxing with 1,000-piece puzzles. I have two beautiful grown-up children who have both left the nest and are out in the world, making me very proud as a mother.

With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.
